Who we are

Wild Ox, also known as It's Wild Ox, a software development company at 3750 Metro Pkwy, Fort Myers, Florida. You can reach us at hello@itswildox.com or (239) 666-7105. Anything on this page that you want changed or deleted, that address is where to ask.

What you send us

Our contact form asks for your name, your email address, a message, and optionally a phone number. Nothing else. There is no account to create and nothing to pay for on this site.

What you write goes into an automation workflow we run ourselves, which delivers it to us and records it so an enquiry does not get lost. We use it to reply to you and to keep track of the conversation. We do not sell it and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

The call you have to ask for

The form has a checkbox that lets an AI voice agent call you back about your enquiry. It is unchecked by default, and no automated call is placed unless you tick it and give us a number. Leave it alone and a person replies instead.

If you tick it and change your mind, email us and we will remove the number.

What the site measures

We use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages people actually read. It tells us that a page was visited, roughly from where, and on what kind of device. It is not tied to your name or your email, and we never send Google what you typed into the form.

We also run the Meta pixel, which reports a page view and, when a form is sent, that an enquiry happened. That goes to Meta, and Meta handles it under their own policy, not ours.

Both of those set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. If you would rather they did not, your browser's tracking protection and any ad-blocker will stop them, and the site works exactly the same without them.

One more thing your browser stores, and it is ours: a timestamp of your last form submission, kept so the form cannot be sent more than once a minute. It lives in your browser's session storage, never reaches us, and disappears when you close the tab.

How long we keep it

Enquiries we keep while we might still be working together and for a reasonable period after, in case you come back. Ask us to delete yours and we will, and you do not have to give a reason.

Other people's sites

Our portfolio links to sites we built for clients, and the footer links to our social profiles. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site under someone else's policy. We are not responsible for what they collect.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. There is no mailing list to notify, because we do not run one.
