The challenge
A photographer is judged on image quality the moment the page opens, so compression that visibly degrades the work is not an option. The site had to carry a heavy portfolio without the load time that usually comes with it.
What we built
A Next.js site rendered on the server, with the portfolio handled so the images stay sharp while the page still arrives quickly. Service and contact paths are kept short, because enquiries here are usually time-bound: a wedding date, an event, a shoot already on the calendar.
